I've made another batch of soldered china tile necklaces and have used some of my favorite romantic courting couples.
However, first I want to THANK YOU for making the first round of necklaces a hit!
They were a complete sell out, so I know that some of you liked them ... but I'm still searching for a little more feedback and I'm hoping you'll share your honest opinions.
If you will, take a look at the newest designs below and then maybe you'll answer some of the questions I have posted under the pictures.

Still here? Great! What are your thoughts?
Do you like the courting couples?
Full color or monotone, toile like?
Are the flowers your favorite? Flower and fruit still life?
Ribbons tied on top or near key in a bow?
Ribbon and lace or just ribbon?
Do you like the look of mixed metal or prefer same metal combo?
Anything else to comment on?
You don't have to answer all questions, any you can help me with will be greatly appreciated!
Your thoughts and comments are highly regarded and I thank you !!
Hope you have a fun and creative day ...

I think all the different patterns are great. I like the ribbon at the top, it seems to frame the elements better to my eye. Where do you ever find all those great little keys?
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Thanks Debbie, I appreciate your 2 cents!
ReplyDeleteI bought a really big box of small keys at the flea market once ... I should have enough to last me awhile ; )

I love all of the tiles--the variety is great. I recognize some of the china patterns. Mixed or matched metal works--again variety. I think the ribbon looks best on the top (bottom right) of the piece--and maybe a little smaller width ribbon. I would wear any of them!
ReplyDeleteThey all look great and I like the variety. Personally, I like the ribbon and lace at the top to give a clear view of the tile and key.
ReplyDeleteSounds like lace and ribbon at the top are a favorite ... as well as "variety" ... keep the comments coming!

as found ... I love love love them ALL
ReplyDeletedid I mention I love them?
I'm with the general consensus of ribbon at the top. Seems to take away from your design (which btw, is lovely) and we just cannot have that!
ReplyDeleteLove the courting couples. Do you need one of me and Cat Daddy to add to the mix? (Just kidding...we'd never fit on that tiny tile!)
The key is perfect...don't mess with perfection.
Debbie
After taking a closer look ... I think charm No.08 should be titled "Hotflash"!
ReplyDelete...oh Jill!!! These are fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteMy absolute most favorite is the monotone toile couple with the ribbon & the lace bow! ~ and I love the rhinestone keys, any color they come! I also prefer my soldered edges scalloped.
xo, Rosemary
No.10 is my favorite ... No.11 a close second ... I too like the scalloped edges, sometimes though, depending on the thickness of the tile, it doesn't always fit ans I have to use a plain edge.
ReplyDeleteWow, I am in love! I love the courting couples and then toile and then flowers next. The couples are not something I have seen so Wow they caught my eye. I think mixing the metal is neat. I really like your style. It does not look "cookie cutter" which is refreshing. Much Success to you!!!

I like them all.....I would fade the pictures a bit to match the adged look that surrounds them - but I do like the vintage ribbon and look of it all!!
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous! You know I just adore them all, I like the variety in the having the couples, the toile, the flowers etc etc, I like how they've all got their own little personality.
ReplyDeleteI can't decide which I like best, since they've all so pretty. Definitely love the mixed metals, just adds to the uniqueness of it, I say.
Okay. here's my most honest opinion of them....
I LOVE THEM!
Oh, they are gorgeous. Once again you have created something wonderful. I love the full colored couples. I also love the ribbon and lace tied at the top. And I adore keys of all shapes and sizes, so I love the dangling keys. They are all very lovely though. I just love your stuff. Very first thing I looked at today, and made me smile. It inspired me to head off to the studio to get to play.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderfully Mad and Curiously Enchanted Day....

Jill, I love the different varities you have, I think thier all gorgeous!! You are so talented. hugs~~~ Daphne
ReplyDeleteThey are all really lovely. I like #11 the best with its simple tile and understated gray ribbon. I’m not big on frilly and lacy, but that’s just me. Many love the lace. Since you sold out on your last venture, I assume you know what you are doing!!! Have a wonderful summer. I loved you peach salsa recipe!
ReplyDeletemy favourite is number 11 :)
ReplyDeletebut the are all great!
Hi Jill,
ReplyDeleteI love your new pendants! My favorite are the couples in the monotones. They are fabulous!!!
Hope this helps.
Have a great day!
Sincerely,
Melinda
I love them all, but I love, love that toile. #10. You do such great work, my friend.

Jill, I am the lucky owner of one of your necklaces (No.2); received it last Friday and wore it all weekend! I received so many compliments..... Although the ribbon/lace on top looks fab, I noticed that they tend to cover the main part of the necklace when wearing.... so you weren't able to see the tile with pretty flowers...it looked like ribbon on a chain, then a key.... so my vote is for having the ribbon at the bottom, or somehow attaching it so it doesnt cover the tile when you move.... LOVE the couples!!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely but I love the toile one as m favorite....
ReplyDeleteI LOVE each one as they are. They are so beautiful and I love the keys. I'd have to say I'm more drawn to the little jewels and especially the scallopy edges. Each one is it's own unique self.
ReplyDeleteI love them all, my favourite is the picture in sepia. But am sure they will all sell brilliantly. Annette x
ReplyDeleteI love them all, although I really love anything floral. Just divine!
ReplyDeleteI like the monotone. Less color, less frilly. But, that's just me! You know, different tastes are what make the world go round! Lots of hard work, and I can certainly appreciate that! ~Mindy
ReplyDeleteHi Jill...love your courting couples...like the coloured, the 'raggy' ribbon/lace at top and maybe small skinnier ribbon tied at the key...mixed metals great.
ReplyDeleteVery cool necklaces I must say...you're very creative...love them!!
hve a great creative day!

These are all fantastic..love them.!
ReplyDeleteI really like the key in #1, but I think if I had to pick just one, #11 or 12, with the ribbon tied at the key, would be my choice. However they are all gorgeous..!
Very pretty! I think the ribbon looks best at the top, and I think the monotone color tile looks better than the full color - but really they all look great!
ReplyDeleteHey Jill - I think these are all lovely but I agree with the ladies that said that ribbon at the top seems to look best. I definetly love the couples as well as the flowers and as for color vs. monochromatic, I personally need color but I do see and understand the appeal of the mono. I actually have a suggestion though...Maybe do some monochromatic couples in blue or red also (kind of a Toile "feel").
ReplyDeletePersonally, I like the long droopy ribbon vs the tight bows. The couples are fantastic and unexpected. I prefer color, that is one of the major appeal of these pieces I think. I would also love to see some vintage skeleton keys!
ReplyDeleteI love your key charms, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like the ribbon mixed with lace on top, than it hangs pretty next to the charm.
The couples are pretty, but I love roses even more!
But they are ALL beautiful :-)
♥ from Holland
I love the monotone and courting couples because they are different. I love the keys at the bottom. They are all beautiful! Good luck!
ReplyDeletekaren....
I like the flowers and toile better than the couples and I think I would want it plain...no ribbon! I don't want anything covered up! Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteJill,
ReplyDeleteI think your necklaces are beautiful!
I purchased one from your first round (No.1), and I LOVE everything about it! It is absolutely stunning! A true work of art!
Truth? I like them all but my less of the favs are number one and number three with the man in the colors of orange and yellow, that is just me though - looks like alot of your other viewers like them. I like number 4 with the couple, those colors are nice. The last two my be my favorite but that is hard to pick.
ReplyDeleteTry monotone color ribbon with same metals on key and solder, ribbon at top (neutral ribbons no lace). Ribbon at bottom takes away from your piece unless it's a neutral color. I love that they look old with the solder unpolished and the keys tarnished. Maybe take away the ribbon completely and use a pearl at the top of the keys. They are prettier without ribbon, I think.
ReplyDeleteLinda
I hear you are going to be at Theresa Cano's blog party? Can't wait to meet you!
ReplyDeleteTOT
They are truly beautiful. I like the longer one to the square one you see more of the picture. But I like how you put the square on a angle... makes it look more intresting that way I like the ribbon on the top and I like the mix of metals it looks more old and wore.. like I found it in a old box in the attic.... Hugs Wendy at blissangels
ReplyDeleteThey are all stunning! I do prefer the scalloped edge, and love the aged look. I would rather not see any ribbon on them, but looks like the majority here likes the ribbon, some at the top, some at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteLove those keys and the touches of rhinestones!
