Happy Silver Sunday Sistas ... I have a new silver crush ... well it's not all that new, but since my trip to Texas it's become a lot deeper. Silver trailers make me weak in the knees ....

This gal even hauls her baby inside to use as part of her display and dressing room.

For now ... until I can save up ... I think I'll have to settle for these mini Airstream string of lights and keep dreaming! Now scoot your wheels on over to Gypsy Fish to check out all the Silver for today.Happy trails!

Oh I wish I wish I wish ~ That airstream is awesome. Must remember to ask Santa this year:) Happy SS!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteHappy Silver-Sunday to you. This silver trailers look like pretty big handbags, didn't they? There's all inside, what a women need. Can you imagine to drive to a party, bringing ALL your shoeswith you? No problem when you decide afer hours to chance the pumps. Of when you spill sauce down on your dress, no matter - in a few minutes you are freshly dressed. What a fun to think about all that.
Have a nice weekend,
Johanna
Hi Jill
ReplyDeleteHow fabulous those trailers are.. I think I would have a crush on them also... Hope you had fun in Texas... I'm sure you would have... xxx Julie
I've lived in TX all my life. Finally visited Round Top this spring and was amazed. Can't wait to go next year, a little more prepared!
ReplyDeleteThey are cute aren't they. When we built our home(SO SLOWLY) we had one as a guest room for a while. NOT for guests, we would let THEM sleep in the house and we took the trailer, hehe! It was like being on vacation. LOVE your idea Johanna, that would be like a hollywood dressing room... This was SUCH A FUN post. Thank you for sharing...
ReplyDeleteOh, I think you should run out and get it. Think how much fun Texas would be in that baby, AND you could have sleepovers!
ReplyDeletelove ya,
Debra
What a charming silver post! I remember the Airstream our neighbors had in the 60s - the sunlight would bounce off it and practically blind you. ::Jill
ReplyDeleteThat would be a Dream come true ~ a Silver bullet down the Highway.... Exactly what I would Love to have & Travel The USA, Stopping at all the wonderful Flea Markets & Shows.... Now this is the Perfect Silver Sunday Post, Thanks for Sharing
ReplyDeleteCheryl
Airstreams are the bomb! LOL! My grandparents used to have one when I was a little girl. These photos are great! I love the painted trailers too! Cute, cute, cute!
ReplyDeleteOh I could put that on my wish list when I win the lottery...if only I played the lottery...
ReplyDeleteFUN ~victoria~
My parents stayed in an Airstream resort in Arizona once and LOVED it! It was all decked out in retro decor, and I think each of the campers were decorated with a theme! I haven't seen one of these on the road in a long time, unfortunately. They are very cool!!!
ReplyDeleteMine doesn't even have to be silver!!!!! Check out this link to see ONE of my friends TWO trailers all cute & sassy http://myheartsease.blogspot.com/search/label/SOF
ReplyDeleteI'm with you let's keep saving & dreaming. Do you think YOU could pull one? I would like to think I could but, then... I get worried!!!! HUGS!

I love Airstreams and if I could just convince Cat Daddy how cozy one would be....! In the meantime, I have a little Shasta canned ham sitting in the backyard that I keep saying I'm going to fix up...yeah right!
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Oh yeah. You have to get one of those. If you're going to have a trailer, go all out and get a shiny one.
ReplyDeleteI would just love to have one in my backyard in place of the jacuzzi no one ever uses and is too expensive to fill with the water shortage in CA. I could use it as a COOL CRAFTIN' COACH with lots of bling!
ReplyDeleteI too have the "airstream" fever!!! Maybe it just goes hand n hand with living in Texas and being in the "junkin" business!!! LOL Cathy aka GGJ
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I'd love a little trailer "house", too. Hope your saving up goes quickly.
ReplyDeleteSusanne.
Ah yes, a vintage Airstream or Gypsy Vardo are high on my "Bucket List" of acquisitions too!
ReplyDeleteDawn... The Bohemian
You are speaking to my heart!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted an airstream!
I even went and looked at one that was for sale a few years ago!
It is another one of my little dreams~that someday I hope comes true!
As a seasonal camper for the past 14 years I just loooove it when the airstreams stream in for a weekend! These look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH!!! I'm sending you my penny pig... I can SO see you cruisin' down the road with that trailin' along behind you... straight back to Texas!
