How do you handle things win they spin?
Like the feeling of life spinning out of control?
Me? I retreat ... turn within and become quiet.
Maybe quiet on the outside, not much to say or share ... but so many conversations spinning around in my head.
This is a quiet time for me.
But, I'm still here ...thinking, talking {mostly to myself!}, and creating.
Reading all about your thoughts and adventures.
I'll see you when the ride is over.
Luckily, it doesn't usually last long.

I am so there with ya chicka! Not enough hours in the day and human cloning is not allowed yet! LOL! Keep your head up and enjoy the ride!
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't know you, I do read your blog, and hope all is well with you.
ReplyDeleteI understand what you are saying - been there more than once. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteHope you have a nice weekend.
Enjoy that quiet time with yourself, Jill...I find those periods to be priceless
ReplyDeleteWhen I "Hermatize" (Which is my term for unplugging, avoiding reality, stress and general responsibilities?) I create stuff.
ReplyDeleteSome days I don't shower some days I don't answer the phone,,,,,I just make "stuff." It's the best therapy ever.
Or,,,I I don't feel like making things, because the "Creative Fairies" have taken a Hiatus.....I go junkin' or Antiquing!
Combo of the Three, seems to work for me!,,,,,I'm just saying!
(Stop by my little blog in a couple of days to see pics from "Island Chicks" in Anacortes, WA......We're kickin' it!_
Hugs,
Shell
Hope everything settles down soon. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Jill! I hope you can find a great book and a quiet place on your porch to ride this out. I have had any rides in my life and it always helps to find my peaceful place and to my loved ones close.
ReplyDeleteThoughts of you this morning...
See you when you return
Donna
Just go with the flow :)
ReplyDeleteI never 'internalize' but wish I could. Instead, I just ride the storm with gusto...

I just discovered your post. I so understand what you are saying.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get sick I get quiet. I want to tuck up and hide from the world. But, when everything around me is going crazy and I am in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions I get yappy and want to talk everyone to death.
If you visit a post I did yesterday you will find I am in a yappy mode and sharing things that were probably best left unsaid. So perhaps I should take your advice and retreat for a while.
Hope your world stops spinning soon and that you are able to get your sea legs back.
Very very cool shot & editing! =)
ReplyDeleteUsually dislike any form of commenting, but when you read a great post occasionally you just need to get out of those lazy techniques. This is such a post!
ReplyDeleteHey Jill, all is well? Loved to read about your posts...
